About Me:: I write poetry and books for children, have two children, two cats, and two dogs (but only one spouse), and I've been a nerdfighter since birth. My current works in progress include a chapter book about garden gnomes and a Verse Portrait of Jane Austen (telling the story of her life through period poetry).

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more: There is not enough space or time to list them all. They include: the 6 completed Austen novels; A Tale of Two Cities and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens; the Harry Potter series; the published novels of John Green; RULES by Cynthia Lord; A Crooked Kind of Perfect by Linda Urban; and The Lord of the Rings.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?: A scarf, which looks very immigrant-circa-1920, but there it is.
