- "The Fountainhead," by Ayn Rand has had the most profound impact on me as an individual, although I am no objectivist.
"Va, Vis, et Deviens" is a film that everyone should see. Set in Israel, post-Operation Moses it follows Schlomo, an Ethiopian boy who tries to integrate into a society that, while not explicitly hostile, is always threatening to reject him.
Music is harder to pin down, so I won't even try.
