I'm in college trying to learn how to be the kind of teacher that little nerdfighters will enjoy having. I hope to teach them a lot of neat things, such as why Harry Potter is totally literature, why boys(and girls) should love Jane Austen, and that art doesn't happen in a vacuum.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
I have so many favorite books that typing them all out might crash my computer. I read about 6 books a month, and I have a personal policy that I refuse to openly dislike any book I haven't read twice(I'm looking at you, Twilight).
Anyway, my favorite book of all time has been J.M. Barrie's "Peter and Wendy" since I was 8, so I think it's here to stay. The position of second favorite book changes almost daily, but return visitors to the position include- Alice in Wonderland(or Through the Looking Glass), anything Tolkien, Jane Eyre, the His Dark Materials trilogy, The Kite Runner, Never Let Me Go, Good Omens, Twelfth Night, John Green's books, and of course, Harry Potter(the fourth is my favorite, I don't know why). I'm not even going into movies/tv, but I will tell you that my relationship with Steven Moffat is very complicated considering I've never met him.
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
Headphones. That counts, right?
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
Elizabeth I. Or Gandalf. Or David Tennant, he seems like he would be good at it.
When did you start watching the Vlogbrothers?
