My "Politics"

I am pro-freedom. Some terms that I think are reasonable descriptions include voluntaryist, agorist, and individualist anarchist. Depending on the question, you could find me arguing to the left of the Left or to the right of the Right, but I always strive to argue on the side of freedom regardless of popular political terminology.

No political party in existence is or has been consistently pro-freedom, and I am not a member of any of them. I do not vote. I am a conscientious objector to the political process, both on ethical and strategic grounds. I believe the proper response to government is to pee on the steps of the halls of government and run away laughing.

Random Autism Information

Perhaps the mention of autism a few times in the forum has made me sufficiently hyperaware of the topic that I'm thinking of it and noticing things about it more often than usual. Time for a brain dump.

Today's Google homepage features the following:

To what part of the Libertarian Party Platform do you object? For the most part they seem to be for the greatest amount of personal liberty and the least amount of government intrusion of any of the parties I have considered. I have almost entirely giving up voting as most candidates and laws are aimed to or result in increasing government power and limiting personal liberty. I kinda wish P.J. O' Rouke would become a nerd fighter and start a movement for change we really could believe in. Have you ever followed the work of the Institute for Justice or the Cato Institute.

"That was really good advice on the subject of Butterflies. "

Thanks! I've been fortunate to have the unique experience of going from being totally inept around women for most of my life, until around two years ago when I set about learning what it is that some guys do to make women like them. As a result, I've now seen Butterflies from both sides, and I know they're wonderful, but still aren't enough to fill the holes inside you, as John once put it.

If I may say this in response to your blog post:

Autistic kids RICK!

(this is both a broad generalization and a celebration of the love and personality of kids with this condition.. I know a couple, so it is not meant in anyway to be insensitive. :) )

No need to post this to your page if you don't wish... and I am trying to make time to respond to your mail. It deserves more than a half hearted, attention deprived answer... save for now, to say thanks for the intelligent, interesting, and open response.
