About Me:: I live in New Zealand, I am the mother of 2 junior nerdfighters. I am a huge huge HUGE Star Trek fan. I love to read but dont get much chance at the moment. It is summer here and we have the swimming pool up and our garden is pretty much a camping ground lately.

I am a bit of a music buff I have wide and varied tastes in music, favs being REM, Phil Collins and my current fav CD is Coco by Colbie Callait.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more: Harry Potter, Septimus Heap, The Earth Children (series) those are my top 3.

Martina Cole is my favorite author currently.

I have yet to read Johns books but am looking forward to finding them soon.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?: my son and my bandanas since I have very little hair.

If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?: Phil collins.. hahahaha (Yes im serious)

I really wish that I could enjoy books over a period of a week or so however, mostly I sit and read and read until its finished.

I found this on my friends bookcase, she told me is was boring and she couldnt get into it. I have since liberated it, inhaled it, loved it and it now lives on my bookcase. An excellent read.

This is one of the best books I have read for a long time, It was supposed to be my summer read but it only lasted 12 hours I couldnt put it down.

Well I still havent done my list yet, its more a work in progress in my head, when im ready I will put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard. We currently are having one of the best summers we have had for a long time. Lots of beach time and pool time. I am seriously loving the new site for Nerdfighters, Im seriously happy and making new friends every day.. back to the pool..

Well this year has almost come to a close and its time for me to do my yearly overview. What have I learnt this year, what have I acheived, my highlights etc. Im not a fan of new year resolutions as I tend to tackle things when they arrive not pin a date on them.
