About Me:

Mum of two boys with a lovely partner. Just returned to work after seven years home with kids. Working in welfare field (family violence). Passionate about indigenous affairs and the terrible treatment of refugees by our government at present! Love books and have been lulled into reading digital books by my computer nerd partner:). Love to travel, eat and play with our beautiful boys.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

Love fantasy novels eg. Robin hobb, Helen Hollick, Isabelle Carmody, too many books/authors (recently read "the fault in our stars" in a day- cried for the entirety of the second half I believe. Felt guilty after finishing that I had completed it in a day but just couldn't put the thing down!!). Movies, umm, that's tricky too Lord of the Rings, Withnail and I, am enjoying tv series more these days such as True Blood, Game of Thrones etc. Fantasy book/movie girl I guess ( working in Family Violence field requires lots of fantasy in our spare time :)). Music, ok, Lots of local Australian bands/singers, modern, rock, soul, blues, independent stuff- basically all except that which is found on the charts (although live a bit of Gotye!)

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?

I steer clear of foil, boring things like sunglasses (bring on summer!)
