About Me:

I'm currently studying Clinical Laboratory Sciences and will be graduating in May 2010. I am a big geek when it comes to biology, especially microbiology and veterinary sciences which are my passions and hobbies. I rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals coming from abusive and neglectful homes and have successfully rehomed over 30 animals in the last 3 years.

Wayne Brady loves nerdfighters!!!

So, I'm in Las Vegas this week hanging out and lamenting the fact that I'm not 21 and I really can't do much but see shows here... and not even all the shows. But my trip (and/or LIFE) just went down to a record low suck level because I JUST SAW WAYNE BRADY LIVE!!!!!!!! He does an improv show at The Venetian and OH MY WORD... it was hilarious! Nerdfighter super-ultra-micro-mini-challenge!!!

So, exciting news... I finally got a puppy! Problem is, he has no name. So here's my challenge to you all. Everyone, help me pick a name for my new puppy. Right now, he is affectionately called Dog-Face, but I don't really think it should be permanent. And since I know gender and breed matter, here's the details:

He's a boy.
He's a mutt. (Pug-Boston Terrier)
He's tortoise shell in color.
And he's hyper as all holy hell.

BTW, even though he looks like a smallish guy in his photos (I swear it's his sweet face and gentle spirit), he's actuallly 6'1". It's not that he has a big head or anything, but it isn't small, either.

What he'd like is a hat that isn't too warm (not warm like a ski hat is what I'm thinking he's thinking). I'm thinking that a somewhat breathable material is important.

It has to be really, really soft, and preferably washable (after every round of chemo we have to wash everything, because he smells the chemo on everything), although we broke down and bought Febreeze for the stuffed animals... can't exactly wash them.

He doesn't care so much what the puppy ears look like, but I made him a stuffed animal with longish floppy ears, so that would be cool.

He likes every color except yellow.

Is this stuff that would work? You really would make a hat and send it to us?

Let me know. I won't be upset if it turns out that you can't, but it would be so cool if you can!
