What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Drama Nerd

You sure do love the spotlight and probably have a very out-going and loud personality. Or not. That's just a stereotype, of course. Participation in the theatre is something to be very proud of. Whether you have a great voice for musicals, or astounding skills for dramas/comedies; keep up the good work. We need more entertainment these days that isn't television and video games (not that these things are bad, necessarily.)

Everybody Poops... in my PANTS

Some commentary,

The book Everybody Poops (in my pants) was just featured in the Mental Floss (best magazine ever) blog:

5 Things I Didn’t Know about Poop

by David - February 21, 2008 - 3:22 AM

I have poop on the brain today. Someone gave my 6-month old son Jack a copy of Everyone Poops even though we’re nowhere near that stage yet. Still, it’s a fascinating book, and got me thinking about how little I know about poop. While the following… Continue

13 Little Blue Envelopes Blurbing Book Club

I just finished the book and thought it was excellent. I found the dreaded one typo, and I also found...Hank's name. To anyone who enjoyed this book, I would recommend the book Betsy and the Great World by Maud Hart Lovelace. It's also about a girl traveling through Europe, being in love, finding stuff out... only it takes place in the early 1900s and is based on a true story.

So... my blurb:

A mystery, a journey through Europe... and her heart

I'll Add More Sporadically

5.) Three Monks took a vow a silence but agreed that they can take turns saying one sentence a year.

The first year rolls around and at breakfast monk #1 throws down his spoon and says: I hate oatmeal!

The second year rolls around and at breakfast Monk #2 says: Well, I quite like it.

At long last it's the third year and Monk #3's turn, he says: I’m sick of…

Documenting Day First

I'm so excited about this I think I'm going to throw up. Hank did an amazing job. I'm still broken up that it was too snowy for me to drive to see his concert. I know this site in going to go down in history, and I'm glad to be a member on day one. Hey guess what I read yesterday on my uk yahoo? (Er...I'm an England Nerdfighter even though I live in America and am American) JK Rowling SAID she is considering writing an 8th book!! 10 years...! What nerdfighter isn't interested in knowing… Continue

I got so much crap in Year 9 when I went through my Sam Neill phase. =P In case you don't know, he's the main guy in Jurassic Park, as well as in a lot of other Australian films that no one really knows about. Everyone was like "Eww, he's old!" And I was like "But...he's sexy!" And YES I completely agree with the professor image. They're just so...all-knowing. I also have a bit of a thing for George Clooney, but I guess I'm probably not alone with that one. =P And MICHAEL PALIN! Are you a Monty Python fan?

Yea I kind of feel like i have been useless because I need a job! Hopefully I'll get one at a coffee stand. And I miss things being exciting all the time...summer is sort of sucky sometimes if you can't travel. I wish I could just travel and travel...

Page stalking--in my definition--is clicking into some random Nerdfighters profile (or sometimes intentionally) and just going over their page. Sometimes if I find their summary interesting, I'll do a thorough 'stalking.' Meaning I'll look into some of their blogs, or discussion they've started, or what not.

It's actually interesting because I found new songs and interesting bands through "page stalking," as well as new books to read. Also, there's a high probability you'll learn new things as well--which I generally do.
