What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?

I'm an artsy-fartsy nerdfighter!

About Me:

I love my family & friends! I'm sure I've inherited my nerdiness & goofiness from my awesome parents who taught me the ways of Star Wars & Star Trek. :) My two sisters & I, when combined, are a pretty unstoppable force of silly good times. I love them to death. My friends are also pretty awesome & I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I love, love, love to dance, make art & make music but my occupation is a K-6 teacher who loves to be silly & frequently ends up doing so unintentionally. For example, "Cinnamons are words that mean the same thing... wait, I mean synonyms. Haha." That is, I suppose, why I enjoy kids so much. You can be completely goofy around them & they're highly likely to join in with you.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

Some things I really dig: Jesus. family & friends. creativity. art in all its multifacetedness. making music. cello. dance... 'specially swing dancing. puzzlements. reading. nature. adventure. world travel. kids. photography. rain. daisies. exploring. homey porches. cooking. hammocks. motorcycles. campfires. creeks with big rocks. classic 40's & 50's movies. writing letters & sending cards. zucchini bread. hot chai tea (with extra spice please). soft snuggly things to wear. unique jewelry. road trips. talking with friends over a good cup o' joe or tea... or just talking with friends in general. pleasant surprises. fresh fruit & veggies (snackalicious). stargazing. animals. ethnic food (like sushi!). fireflies. chocolate. sandals. vintage.

As far as books go I like CS Lewis' quote, "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." There are lots of books I enjoy but I can't hardly begin to list them all here.... same goes for music & movies. :) Just ask me if you have a particular question. I will say, though, that I am a big fan of Harry Potter. :)
