I <3 Knitting too! :D

Well, I totally stink at it, but it's fun. Plus I can always have my mom the Knitting Queen fix it when I mess up, haha.

I'm knitting the strap for the purse thing I'm making. It was originally a checkered square pattern to practice purling, but I felt it was a waste to spend all that time and not make anything. :)

Do you know any awesome beginner knitting projects?

DFTBA!

No, I don't knoit, but I do crochet! :P
As for Hank stalking...I've thought about it, but where he lives is several long hours away from me. I am really really bummed that I didn't get to see him performing his songs live. I tried so hard to get down there, but stuff kept coming up. If he ever does a gathering in his homeotwn, or elsewhere in Montana, I'll definitely go.
I was looking at your pics...your daughters are so cute! :)

Yeah! I went to a midnight release party with some friends and then stayed up until ten in the morning reading it. I can't decide if I love it or I hate it, though...but the whole thing is not what I expected.

That would be amazing!! I'd loveeee to meet John and Hank!

And I've been trying to recruit people. The only other friend I have on here, Coolnessinmypocket, she lives in Coventry. I've told some of my friends about nerdfighting and the vlogbrothers and everything but they just don't get it.

I'm a mother of 2, Young Adult librarian, aspiring writer, and total geek. I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK and have lived in Connecticut since 2000. I have been happily married since 1996 and have two daughters born 2002 and 2004. I am also the proud owner of a boxador (boxer lab mix) named Oscar who looks amazingly like Scooby-Doo. Paper Towns and Suite Scarlett Reviews

So, I was browsing the new Booklist a few days ago. For those of you who aren't librarians, that is a monthly publication with book reviews. I get very excited when it comes. I was even more excited to see that they reviewed both Paper Towns AND Suite Scarlett. The best part is that they were both Star Reviews. That means they are recommended reads. AWESOME.
Wanna know what they wrote?

Don't let the title fool you. This is not just a girlie book. Actually it's about football. Don't get me wrong, not ALL about football. If it was I would hate it, not being a sports fan, but it actually made me a little interested in football.

It's told from DJ Schwenk's poin to of view. She is a 16 year old farm girl who is struggling t… Continue

The Jane Austen Book Club (DVD)

I saw this movie on the shelves and, not knowing anything about it, thought I'd check it out. It was really good. The cast is great. The story is a bit romantic, but not totally a girl movie.

Juno

I am probably the only Nerdfighter that had not already seen Juno. I finally watched it last night. I am in Juno love! How awesome is that movie? I think the best way to sum it up is "Thundercats, GOOOOOOO!"
