I suppose an anthropology Nerdfighter... but really a whole panoply of nerdyness.

About Me:

I am an writer, actor, costumer, aspiring archaeologist and gelato chef. there are to many things I want to do I am going to have to live a long time. (hopefully long enough to experience space travel.) I am a mountain girl, born and raised in California. I love the wilderness. I also love any excuse to dress up in everything from historical period clothing to fantasy ball gowns and SIFI outfits. but next to people the thing I love most in the world is books.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

I love them all and they are my babies! I have so many books that I'm now up to five bookcases in my room, and I had to put the last one in the back of the closet because I ran out of wall space...and they still don't hold all my books. There are few things I love and enjoy as much as the written word.
Being an anthropologist, I love almost anything well-written about history or culture, and I am addicted to unusual reference books (such as one about the macabre origins of common English words, and the Encyclopedia of Poisons). I grew up on and have a particular love for fantasy, especially English fantasy authors, such as Tolkien, E. Nesbitt, Roald Dahl, and Terry Pratchett (a god among men). I also like to read philosophy, fun Victorian mysteries by Elizabeth Peters, the elaborate stylings of Jacqueline Carey, and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. I like classic literature, everything from the Odyssey to Dracula and from Jane Austen to Dante's Divine Comedy.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?

If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?

very hard to chose but David Tennant or John Green.
