- Nerdfighter newbie! I love to think and to write, and intelligent conversations rock my socks off. Right now, I am an anticipated math major taking my first college courses, and I am an aspiring author. I believe in equality and open-mindedness whenever possible, and I try not to judge people. Also, I believe in the power of love and in Jesus Christ as savior.
I love meeting people and understanding different points of view... I think we could all- myself very much included- use some of that perspective in life.
And I'm really not as serious as this about me sounds. :) I love to laugh and joke, and sarcasm brings me a great amount of joy. And my cat just stood in front of my face very stubbornly to keep me from saying that. XP Lovely creature, that one.

- You know, I want to leave it at this. I love pretty much all music, especially show tunes and rock (rock Broadway for the win!).
With everything I read and watch, one thing stands out to me- emotion. I love pretty much any book or movie that can honestly make me think or feel something. Isn't that the highest compliment you can give an author/screenwriter? For a few, I can say Rent, August Rush, P.S. I Love You, Harry Potter, Todd Strasser's novels, Laura Jensen Walker's works, and The Catcher in the Rye.
Kind of opposing this, I LOVE Disney... Especially old school Disney... And How to Train Your Dragon. It's my major exception. :)

Deadlyloofah said… oh well callbacks and auditions aren't too different from each other. The primary difference is that in a callback they have already seen everyone and so are mixing and matching people to see who works well together, and who doesn't. Most call backs you will either do readings for a specific character, or sing more (if it's a musical). typically a director is now starting to get more picky. Auditions it's usually just "can the person act." and callbacks are. "Can the person play the part I want them too." and how long between more than one call back or the cast listing know is really up to the production, some times it's a few hours, sometimes it's days or weeks or even months. You never really know. Does that help?

Callback (You can have as many as the director once. I have gone through 3 for a show before.)
