Ohhhh, that's a hard question because there are so many to list! I am the moderator of two English Book Clubs in French-speaking Switzerland, so I read a little of everything. Well, not dime-store romance, and not horror stuff because I already have the newspaper for that. What's on my bedside table at the moment? Looking for Alaska by John Green, Girls of Riyadh by Rajaa Alsanea, Something Wholesale by Eric Newby, Unless by Carol Shields, Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, Awareness by Anthony de Mello, The Rough Guide to The Gambia, and Old Bones by Aaron Elkins.

At 8:01am on January 6, 2008, super librarian said…: there are some DVDs by Meera-- i bought them from her website-- www.akashaproductions.tv -- i highly recommend them, she is good, and teaches the moves well. there's also Masala Bhangra, which is a kick-your-butt workout, but loads of fun. DVDs are great, but hard to compare with live classes... keep looking, you might be surprised --someone might be teaching nearby. Have you ever been to tribe.net? lots of bellydancers on there , and a huge community of teachers and students --a good place to find out if there are any classes going on near you. --keep dancing, it keeps us young!

last year we did a fundraiser called Belldydance for Books in which we did a joke choreography as the Bellydancing Librarians, featuring the themesong from I Dream of Jeannie............. and you??
