Verena said… sorry, I was busy and couldn't find the time to answer you comment. But I'm here now :D
what did you do this week? :)
Jeremy Cooley said… Phew, sorry I took so long to reply!!! I was heavy into schoolwork. D: And it's okay; long comments are great lol! ;D Next time, if you'd like, you can just PM me or email me at JCooley159@gmail.com :D
Anyway, I like realistic and photography the most, though I do like some abstract as well if it's interesting or done well. And an app on facebook? Bahahahaha! xD Though I TOTALLY understand not having enough time anymore. School is really fun, although it can be a real pain at times.
Whoa, nice! Likewise, I'm a sophomore in with juniors in Latin 3. And what spanish level is it? Hahaha ^_^ Many of my junior and senior friends have told me that I'd die, but I'm actually quite enjoying the class, even though it is hard.Physics sounds interesting as well, but I loved Bio last year, as well! I had one of the best teachers last year whose name was--and I kid you not--Kim Wimpey. He was the coolest and most hilarious of teachers, but he was the biggest geek ever and he used jokes to get the facts to stick in our heads. (e.g. "Euglenas go both ways." [as in that euglenas are mixotrophic--both photosynthetic and autotrophic])
Latin is SOO AMAZING, though it's a shame that your school doesn't have it! D^: If you want to look into Greek or Latin on your own, look in your local library for the Cambridge Latin Course, or just buy it on Amazon. If you do, you won't regret it!
Blarharhar. So anyway, it's great that you really like your art class. :) And using different materials at least opens your perspective, not to mention allows you to try new things and find if you enjoy them as well!
(Ahh! This is a really long comment in and of itself!!!)
Verena said… But I don't want to mess up. :P I'm always trying to be better and even though I'm way better at English than most of my friends I still feel silly when I can't get the sentence right.
I thought about being a teacher once but you hardly get a job because there are just too many teachers and the schools can't afford them. But teaching English would be great. I love the language and as teacher maybe I can show the kinds how cool it can be to learn a new language and how good you feel once you can talk to almost everyone in the world. Most of the people my age see English just as a school subject they have to learn and hate it. Sometimes this is just the teachers fault because he can't make it interesting. I have a great English teacher. We do a lot of cool things in the lesson like last year we had to make our own movie. We were in groups of 4 or 5 and could decide alone what we wanted to do it just had to be English of course. After 2 month we watched all videos from all groups together and it was great. The lessons never are boring because most of the time we decide what we want to do and so almost everyone learns new stuff without having to study much, we just learn it casually.
wow, thats a long comment again ^^
Verena said… ok good, I was worried you wouldn't understand what I was trying to say :)
I don't know exactly but the main focus of my class is medical technology and I love this. I think I'll do something in that field. (Does this sentence make sense?! :D)
What do you want to do?
Verena said… thanks for the explanation of you school system. it's different here. When you're 3 you can go to kindergarten but you don't have to. It's only a playgroup and most parents send their kids here because they have to work and can't look after them all day. When you 6 you have to start school. It's called "Volksschule" and you have to go there for 4 years. After that you have a choice. When you're a good student you go to "Gymnasium" which has nothing to do with sports, or you attend "Hauptschule" Both teach the same amount of subjects only in "Hauptschule" it's kinda easier. It has a very bad reputation but it's not THAT bad to go there. After 4 years you have to change school again because you have to have 9 years of school at least, so you do the 9th year somewhere you like. Then you can start working or go to a higher school. I go to a "HTL" which is a technical school. Mostly there are boys but more and more girls join :) Also this is the school for nerds, there are a lot of computer programmers, and gaming nerds and book nerds and .... - nerd paradise :) okey I'm getting off topic.
When you go to a higher school you have to go 4 or 5 years depending on whar school you're in. Then you can go to university :)
I hope you understand what I wanted to say, it's not easy for me to explain :)

Verena said… isn't it so weird how the way you look at something makes such a huge difference in your life? just a few weeks ago i barely ever saw this guy-friend of mine, but when i did see him i acted the exact same way i did freshmen year when we were like best friends and i still thought of him the exact same way that i did then, even though we had both clearly changed a lot over the course of 2 years.
now, just a short while later, i think of him as a total stranger who i only talk to because…
