Mckenzie Craig replied to Jonathan Jenkins's discussion why is religion still around
"There is still a few things we as a whole do not yet understand completely: For example the beginning of our universe. There are also things they refuse to understand such as evolution and fossil records. Also, it has bee tradition for so long that…"

Mckenzie Craig replied to Latch33570's discussion Autism and Aspergers Syndrome and Gary McKinnon
"Aspergers is not an illness! It just means that your mind works differently from what is considered normal. People with aspergers are not stupid, or challenged, or incompetent. In fact, I, and most others I've met, are more…"

Mckenzie Craig replied to CD's discussion What do you think of the death penalty?
"The death penalty is necessary for people like murderers and rapists and terrorists. Especially in cases where other have seen them commit the crime: there will be no false convictions. Those people only make the world worse for everyone else,…"

Mckenzie Craig replied to Ashley Richardson's discussion Religious inheritance
"This is how religion goes on. Parents teach it to babies from birth, and most cling to it because it is what they "know." It gives them security. People really should be given the chance to study and decide for themselves, but most…"

Mckenzie Craig replied to Tamhas ~ Admin ~'s discussion More Brits believing in Aliens over god?
"Are you trying to say this is a problem? It is as much a problem as there being other religions on the planet: none. Especially since it is very likely that there are "alien" life forms out there on other planets. It is very egocentric to…"

Mckenzie Craig replied to FemaleAgentY's discussion What is your position on Abortion?

Book Note

"This has inspired me to put a similar note in my library's copy of The Fault in Our Stars, or perhaps all of the books by John Green. :) The perhaps there will be another Nerdfighter besides me in my area of the world."

Profile Information

What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
An overly intellectual [and therefore nerdy] teenager
About Me:
I am 16 years old and I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere. I have many pets and one younger brother. I do not fit in with others my own age because I like to read and learn too much, and I am far better at writing than talking. I am joining Nerdfighteria because it seems like I might actually fit in, despite the fact that I cannot donate money and I know little else about what one does as a nerdfighter.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
Books [There are quite a few of these: I read a lot!]: Maximum Ride series [Up to the book titled Fang, anyway], Larklight trilogy, Legend, Wings, Harry Potter series, Midnighters, Maze Runner, Ashfall, Warriors series, The Girl Who Could fly, Last Olympian series, An Abundance of Katherines, Will Grayson; will grayson, The Fault in Our Stars, Dust and Decay, and that zombie novella that John Green wrote [Zombicorns? Anyway, it's better than most of the recently published flow of "books" on zombies, or werewolves and vampires, too, for that matter!]
Movies: Harry Potter movies!
Music: Anything country, or modern, but not the unfortunate excuses for music that are just a collection of bad grammar, vulgar words, and repeating lyrics. Also, Hank Green's Song About an Angler Fish and This Isn't Hogwarts.... And strangely disco music isn't bad either.
School Subject: Biology [Thanks to Crash Course I am very good at it, but the history is more entertaining.]
After School Activity/Sport: ASL or Academic Decathlon. This is why I am a nerd. I recently had my first competition: two bronze medals and I was the best "scholastic" on my team for my first competition, then a gold and a bronze for my second!! YAY :)... Though I did lose my best scholastic status.
Animals: Cats, mice, rats, gerbils, most types of birds, dolphins, and most recently giant squids [Of anger?].
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
A book.
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
John Green
When did you start watching the Vlogbrothers?
September, 2012
