What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
The kind that reads books that are made of awesome. Except for Breaking Dawn and the rest of the Twilight series. That was a mistake, because they were made of suck. Pure, undiluted suck. I'm also a proud mythology, computer, music and drama nerd. But mainly, I'm a Word Nerd.
About Me:
I'm very small for my age, but i never let that slow me down.
I have a passion for both reading and writing that i plan to use in my career.
I love music and am a die-hard chorus girl.
I'm very protective of my friends. I will literally do anything for them.
Drama seems to radiate from me (or maybe its my friends, and I just get caught up in it...hmmm...?) which is both a gift and a curse. While it sucks having all this crap go on, it helps with my writing and gives me a taste of the outside world.
I hate most everything Disney because they've recently made a habit of endorsing and publicizing people who cannot sing and/or act (HSM, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are prime examples. Jonas Brothers are the exception.)
I LOVE Greek mythology.
I love Egyptian mythology (But i prefer Greek).
I adore my cat, Tiger (I named him when i was five and unoriginal).
My favorite TV shows are Boston Legal, Heroes, and LOST.
I love the concept of "Going Green" and try to be as eco-friendly as possible.
I absolutely LOVE paintball!
I am an ex-diver on my school's dive/swim team, and plan to re-join for my senoir year. To any divers or swimmers out there, I applaud you. :]

I love making new friends, so feel free to message me or something! :]

That's pretty much all I've got...

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It's okay. I understand.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
My glasses, as of late. I was debating on wearing contacts again, but I'd rather not suffocate my eyes like the last time (long story; not my fault). Oh, and swim caps, but that's because I have to for meets (at least, I will when i join swimdive again).
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
My best friends. But two out of the four *cough* PAM! *cough* refuse to dance to anything, so the REAL question would be, "How many of your friends would do the happy dance with you?"

Domestic Abuse

I'm very musically intuned, so to hear the Chris Brown had threatened the life of his almost-one-year long girlfriend, fellow R&B artist Rihanna was well, shocking.

Chris Brown has been, since almost day one, the Golden Boy of R&B. He's young, he's talented, and he's fresh meat.

This is completely ridiculous. What would possess a man to wrap his hands around his girlfriend and scream "I'm going to kill you!"?! (and this is all assuming that the press isn't just blowing this al out of p… Continue

Bikini Girl

So I'm going to make a very un-nerdfighter-ish blog about that little hooker on American Idol (hence why this isn't exactly nerdfighter worthy).

And while this is about that slut on American Idol, it's also about music. So there is SOME nerdy-ness in this.

For those who don't watch, this year, there was a girl who, for her first audition, came in in a string bikini and black strappy heels. That already screams 'whore'. Her auditioin was, unfortunately, pretty good. But not great in my o… Continue

My Quotes for the Day

So I've pretty much been shoved into the worst mood I've been in in quite a while, which, if you know me personally (Pam) is pretty bad. And no matter what method of relief I try, nothing works. So I've made up my own. I'm putting up a bunch of song lyrics that reflect the crappy mood I'm in. No one knows what's going on with me, and I get to put up cool lyrics. Everyone wins (well, except me, but hey, I never win, do I? Sorry. Forget that. I'm trying not to be negative.)

So here's my ly… Continue

Literature

So I've discovered that my mother is literature-ly incompetent. And i say that with the all the love i have for her. I've been giving her books to read lately because she has to travel more for her job. So she has nothing to do but read on the airplanes. Well, the last book i recommended was "This Lullaby" by Sarah Dessen, and she said she really didn't like it, because it was all about sex, drugs and alcohol.

It wasn't! That was a backdrop of reality in that book! The whole story went so much… Continue

Hypocrisy

So, I know some people read random blogs sometimes, and i figured that, i wasn't really up to putting this into a discussion, because there's honestly nothing to discuss here. I just thought that people might take an interest in this.

So my sociology teacher has the absolute weirdest stories [though this upcoming one isn't so much "weird" as it is stupid]. And he told the class today about how he had gone to vote in some city nearby our hometown, because he happened to be there that day, and it… Continue

I thought I saw her reading 'let it snow' at some point this year.

Yeah, its a strange coincidence that we happen to be in chorus together. I put notes in a bunch of library books advertising the ning at the beginning of the year. I didn't think there were any other nerdfighters there.

Hi! I'm pretty sure you already dislike me, but you're in my chorus class and you're a nerdfighter which I find really really awesome.

Yeah, Banning books Is in fact dumb..... but they end up getting more people to read it by banning it---doing exactly the opposite of what they wanted to happen yeah?

I think so too. I figure, If a school bans a book---then kids are going to rebel and read it. Oh, My. But then I can also see it as a good thing---because some kids who wouldn't have picked up the book in the first place reads it--because someone told them not to...but got the experience of reading the book.

Yeah, I remember there being a big fuss over the book 19 minutes---because the description of the schools town in the book was a lot like Hanover---a college town (Dartmouth College). It was banned at that school. which was kinda dumb I think! (If you havent read that one I totally suggest it!)

lol, I love "20 Dollar Nose Bleed"
When I first got the track listing for the album I freaked out about "Tiffany Blews" because I was so happy that my name, Tiffany, was in a Fall Out Boy song title. Yeah, I'm a little strange.
