I LOVE HOCKEY ZOMG!!!
OK, so my local heroes, the Buffalo Sabres, have recently acquired the awesomest player ever, Steve Bernier. (I hope everyone likes my proper English so far). In his very first game with us, he scored the first two goals in the opening period! It was pretty sweet, and I was screaming, as I often do when watching Sabres hockey games.

PhD???~!?!~!!!~~~~!!!!
SO....
It's always been my dream that I've wanted to get a PhD in English, because I want to teach English at the college level. Right now I'm getting a Master's degree in Literacy for grades 5-12, and I was thinking of going on to get my doctorate after I finish this program in December. I'm not teaching yet because I'm a slacker (read: scared to death of juggling full-time teaching and full-time Master's), but I'm hoping to have a job this fall to fulfill the practicum requirements… Continue
