"I HATE Bella from Twilight though." Thank you. I'm glad someone finally said it. Melinda- agreed. I love how she describes things and especially people.

I read Little Women when I was younger, and I've always love Jo March. She was ahead of her time in so many ways.

I am both human and dancer. Does this make me an oxymoron or am I just an impossibility?

Nerdfighters who love grammar, and shall defend it to the death! Also, "Grammar Nazis" (as people may call us). If you feel the need to correct the grammar of others when InRealLife, this is the place for you. (Also, non-fans of "txt tlk")

I took a test that was inappropriately long and it said, without a doubt, Ravenclaw. I was kind of hoping for Griffindor, but whatever.

Profile Information

What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
A linguaphiliac and an extreme music nerd.
About Me:
I was born in New York City to Jamaican parents. After I graduated from George Washington HIgh School, I joined the Navy and served in World War Two. Some of my most famous songs include the Banana Boat song and Jump in the Line, both of which were featured in the 1988 thriller/comedy Beetlejuice.

Wait....wait, I think I've confused my life with Henry Belafonte's life again.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
I can't choose books, because there are too many. You will have to tolerate authors. Forgive me.
George Orwell, Augusten Burroughs, Amy Tan, Khaled Hosseini, Amy and David Sedaris, John Green (of course), Ernest Hemingway, Jeffrey Eugenides, Louisa May Alcott, Anne Tyler, John Hodgman, F. Scott Fitzgerald and many others.

Book I'm reading now: Dictionary of Disagreeable English
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
I don't really have a flat head, so few things fit on it without falling
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
Lori- and I know that she's going to read this too.

Cool, so do you own Donald? The store sounds cool... Oh I've been using my friend's 3/4 since I started - 3 months(!) and it was a bit small, yeah. But yesterday... I went cello shopping! I tried 2 out and today we're going back. At first my teacher told me not to think about getting one of them because it had a strange dip by the f-hole and there were lots of cracks but eventually we both fell in love with it so I think I might get it! It's almost a thousand pounds though =0 hopefully we can bargain a bit because of the dip and cracks.. it plays wonderfully though. It's a 110 year old French cello.
Haha yes they are great bands.
Accio deathly hallows would be fun, although I can't get it out of my head now... I think Helena, Montana woukld be awesome with double bass and cello!

I love Veggie Tales also, but I only sing along when my kids will let me - or when I'm alone. In the Belly of the Whale is my all time favorite Veggie Tales song.

Still - I rarely "sing along" when others are around unless we are all singing...

Have an awesome day!

If you could go back in time, name five people you would most like to meet.

I have to admit that I go out of my way to watch Wishbone - and I sing along to the radio all the time (I'm a music therapist and early childhood music instructor - I can't help myself!)

I hope we can still be friends!

DFTBA!

Yes it's a goood idea. We could play some of Hank's songs and other classics like the Tetris and SuperMarioBros theme tunes... actually I think I'm going to have to work out Tetris on the cello now.
I don't share through school no, I have private lessons anyway because I can't take a cello to school, and at the moment I'm borrowing my friend's old 3/4 sized cello, but I should be buying one very soon! Goodbye university fees!
