What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
the book reading, blog writing, harry potter loving kind.
About Me:
I'm natalie. 17, vegetarian, homeschooled, liberal.

I read all the time, and I write to amuse myself, and someday I hope I'll do something to justify all of the nothing I've done so far.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
Jellicoe Road, The Little White Horse, Night, It's Kind of a Funny Story, This Lullaby, Before I Die, The Basic Eight, Les Miserables, The Last Summer (of You & Me), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Where The Red Fern Grows, If I Stay, A Wrinkle in Time, Ella Enchanted, Anne of Green Gables, Harry Potter Harry Potter Harry Potter, Paper Towns, The Goose Girl, Baby Island, the Trixie Belden series, The Nature of Jade, Thirteen Reasons Why, A Mango-Shaped Space, The House of the Scorpion, And Then There Were None, Matilda, Stargirl, The Giver, The Hound of The Baskervilles, and many, many more. <3

Toy Story, Toy Story 3, The Princess Bride, Mean Girls, Freedom Writers, the Proposal, 17 Again, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands...Maybe more. But I'm not much of a movie person.

And I listen to nearly everything. On my iPod, All That Remains, Beethoven, and Adele coexist peacefully. But I love Feist, Ingrid Michaelson, the Killers, Coldplay (Their first CD, Parachutes, is my favorite), Classical, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Queen, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cheap Trick, Etta James, Dean Martin, Jack Johnson, The Weepies, Adele...I'm sure I'm missing someone.

And I love poetry. My favorite poems as of right now are
"Hope", by Emily Dickinson
"Annabel Lee", Edgar Allan Poe
"Jabberwocky", Lewis Carroll
"Fire and Ice", Robert Frost
"This Is Just To Say", William Carlos Williams
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
fake mustaches...or zombified unicorn hats.
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
JK Rowling, Freddie Mercury, or John Green. Or possibly Audrey Hepburn.

When did you start watching the Vlogbrothers?

Make up your own DFTBA initialism!
I'm too inadequate to do so.

O.M.G. ...yeah I dunno.

Haha, well it's quite entertaining for people who visit. Especially when it's taller than I am. :D

Lol same, especially the unicorn attack except mine were flaming and zombiefied. Just got back from volunteering at this anime convention. It was a total blast, met a lot of great people and they want me back next year for senior staff!

Ahhhh! I've just noticed that you commented on my blogpost! AND left book recommendations! How fantastic!

I already have Jellicoe Road and Life as We Knew It on my wishlist. I'm trying to get hold of them on a book-swapping website I use (without any success so far) I LOVED If I Stay though! Also, didn't realise Lemony Snicket wrote adult books (though I did know his name was Daniel Handler somehow?) I will definitely look out for that :) Thanks! (Happy reading!)

Book Challenge 2010

Last year I read 170+ books. this year, I'm planning on reading 200 :D

The problem is, I think I've started to exhaust my library's supply of good YA literature. I even stooped so low as to read a Gossip Girl book, a truly harrowing experience.

And so I need some suggestions. In my previous log, I posted a list of most of the books I'd read in 2009, so you can get a basic idea of the kind of things I like. But any and all suggestions are appreciated!

And as for the… Continue
