I dunno if that will work... but have you seen the previews for Choke? hahah oh my goodness that looks like it would be a good movie. I got a buddy who wrote a review on Snuff... this will be long (he likes Palahniuk too) this is what he had to say...
""Snuff" by Chuck Palanhiuk Book Review (yeah I read alot of Chuck)
So after the slightly disappointing Rant (That's not to say it wasn't good). Mr. Palanhiuk has graced us once again with another fantastic novel. Snuff is the story of gang bang movie being made and takes the perspective of 3 of the men in the movie. Numbers 72, 137, and 600 are all given their chance to give us their perspective of the events that transpire in this novel. Similiar to Rant it's all about perspective as to what happens, however this novel seems a little more cohesive. All three characters share similiar experiences. Unlike Rant we are not given after the fact information where, to Chuck Palanhiuk's credit, the story always changes. This is also a return to form for Chuck Palanhiuk, at first I was concerned that his characters weren't damaged enough, but like a good writer always does you have to scratch the surface to get to the meat.
The story is definitely not for those who like to take a moral high ground, but if you like the moral high ground you should probably just keep looking at the covers of Palanhiuk's novels. It's the fact that Chuck just goes out writes down these stories of characters that seem morally bankrupt that makes them great...but at the same time morals are in the eye of the beholder, it's foolish to say what is right for you is right for another.
This was the fastest read for me by Chuck yet and after paying thirty dollars for it you may be a little disappointed that it goes by so quick. I however will enjoy sharing this novel with my friends and passing it on...if you are a fan of the absolutely crazy and want to connect with characters that feel like people you know than go and read Chuck Palanhiuk...I'm terrible with Identifying symbolism and theme I take things for as they are, but this is a great story of desperation and the search to be noticed.
I give Snuff 5 out of 5 money shots, I mean if you expected anything less from me on a Chuck Palanhiuk review than you should read the NY Times for their review."
