For the past couple days in English we;ve been talking about our favorite books. I answered the question without much hesitation. I said Paper Towns because you can read it so many different ways, the light, easy way, where it seems like just a normal love story, or the complex, "a person is a person, not an event, or your imagination of them," way. My teacher liked that answer.

In Hayley's recent Fiveawesomegirl's video she included a poem about Looking For Alaska composed of short lines from one of the chapters. I did the same for Paper Towns:

One of my old friend's dad died this Saturday. He was so amazingly awesome, it's hard to describe. He had a hardware store when I was little and they rented out party equipment, including a popcorn machine. Whenever you went inside you could get a free paper bag of popcorn to munch on as you walked through the store. It was the highlight of every early saturday morning, me, my dad and my brother eating that popcorn and walking through that hardware store.
