- I'm currently getting my master's in Library Science and it's going great! I love Disney World because I love being childish and because it's just magical! A short section, I know, but I hate writing about myself.
- Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
- Harry Potter....I think that's assumed, Angels and Demons, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Great Gatsby, Young Wizards series, Thursday Next series, John Dunning books, Chrestomanci Chronicles, all John Green books, Firebirds anthologies, Hunger Games. There's too many to list, but it's mostly young adult books, mysteries and fantasy. Plus all of Jane Austen's books.
TV Shows:
Doctor Who, Supernatural, Castle, Warehouse 13, Bones, Glee, Torchwood, Sherlock, Psych, Leverage, Buffy, Lost
It's too hard to list movies, just 'cause I'm easy to please when it comes to them.
As for music...I pretty much love everything except rap and heavy metal. I usually listen to alternative, indie or country though.

So I just realized I never updated my book list last year, but lets just say I didn't make it to 50. This year I'm determined though. A lot f the books I've read have been for my lit class or for theatre.

Attempting to read 50 books in 2009
A lot of these I've reread since i don't have any money to buy new books and the stupid college library has the smallest section for pleasure reading I've ever seen and I don't prefer to read research books.

Hi Patty,
I am looking to get a Masters of Library Sciences, well, after I get my 4 year degree anyway. I live in Iowa and the only ALA accredited public university here is the University of Iowa, although UNI and Iowa State both have programs. I'm told that if you want to earn the degree online, Florida State has the best program. One of my friends who is a children's librarian is state certified, but doesn't have the degree and that's the school she was looking at.
