What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?

About Me:

I am just an ordinary person who enjoys things that only a Nerd would enjoy. Reading is an obsession not a pleasure, while television is kind of dull and boring. I never really thought of myself as a Nerd but after a long talk with my son who is a Nerdfighter, I realize now that I am indeed a Nerd.
My name is Rhonda and I am a Nerd!

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

I have yet to read any of John Green's books but will be making my first purchase of one of his books on November 6. Other than that I love Fantasy and collect many authors. I am currently reading Barack Obama and the Future of American Politics.

A New Nerd Fighter

Just recently I discoved through my son was that Nerd Fighters were made of Awsome. So at first I just watched the videos because at the time his computer was so messed up that he would borrow mine to watch, needless to say I would watch them to and he got me hooked.

I am an avid reader and haven't yet read any of John's books but after hearing him read the prolog of Paper Towns (oh btw pay no attention to the spelling an evil troll has taken over as my typist) I have got to have it! So needles… Continue

As for my icon, it is an image I've always loved, but I don't know too much about it. I just love the contrast between the silly sexy pin up girl, and the witch's conical hat of wisdom. At the bottom of the image is says "This trick's a treat." I really wish it showed up on my icon.
As for fairies, I love them and believe in them too, as an energy connected to nature. In terms of imagery, I have always been drawn to the artwork of Brian Froud (I'm sure you've heard of him):
