Of course I care what others think of me. It's been hardwired into our brains, making it nigh impossible not to care.

About Me:
Alright, so here's the deal. The name's Trebor. Obviously you know that, but in case we just met, this section's for you.

I'm just an abnormal person with okay self esteem, and I go to to a community college. I'm very sarcastic, and that's hard to detect online. In fact, people usually think I'm serious, and then I have to explain to them that I was being sarcastic. It's so troublesome.

I also like messing with people's heads. Like yours. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. You and your gullibility is so fun and easy to mess with. As long as I choose my words carefully, you'll believe anything I'll tell you, won't you? Tut, tut. So sad.

I am a gamer, plain and simple. I'd usually take video games over everything else. I say usually, because even I know it's not good to sit around all day. Did you know that video games are actually good for you? It's true, look it up.

I spell out every world to it's fullest too, because I type how I talk. I'm not going to say "OMG" or "lol" because that's stupid. Oh, and "2" and/or "u" is just plain lazy. The kind of people that do this consistently used to annoy me. It still does, in extreme (AKA texting) annoy the crap outta me. If I ever get a cell phone, don't text me unless you've already passed 2nd grade.

I'm not a very exciting person. Seriously, ask anyone who really knows me. A perfect day to me is sitting on the couch playing video games or cuddling next to my girlfriend (if I have one at the time), and/or both. But, I do like exploring abandoned places, even if it is illegal. (Whether it is or isn't is something I don't know.)

As for people, I generally dislike them. Especially when they whine and complain about something and never offer a solution to whatever they're complaining about. Just like my great uncle said, "There's no use complaining. No one listens anyway."

Despite what I show on the outside, I'm not that bad of a guy. You just have to get to know me.

In conclusion, the world sucks, but I try to make the best of it. Even though life is pretty good to me, I can't wait to go to heaven. Think about it, no taxes, no worry, no school...

Yeah, it'll be awesome. Oh, and to all those atheists, enjoy hell! You'll be there a while.

Why I Like Being a Christian

- I don't have to waste time wondering why we're here, or how the world was created.
- The morals and values I've been taught have been reinforced more than just "It's the right thing to do."
- I've never felt alone and unloved, nor will I ever.
- When things just work out in a good way, I know who to thank, and don't chalk it up to "coincidence."
- Heaven sounds pretty cool.
- I'm not pressured by any of my friends to drink/do drugs/smoke, etc.
- I don't feel like a loser because I'm a 19 year… Continue

What I Learned from I-Carly

- If you haven't kissed someone by your Freshman year in high school, you're the lamest person EVER.
- Texting will yield a higher success rate of a response than calling someone.
- Every kid and their dog has a Blackberry in Seattle.
- Minors have the money to set up their own website.
- Minors can also set up special effects and the like within seconds, and during a live broadcast.
- Fred is the best. person. ever. Anyone who disagrees is stupid.
- Making out is perfectly legal in high schools… Continue

Attention: Nerdfighteria

Disclaimer: The following is not me asking for pity. It's simply me....throwing in the towel, I guess you could say.

I'm only human. I can only take so much bashing before it finally starts to get to me. So, I'm done debating against everyone.

It's obvious I'm fighting a losing battle. I'm not a master of the Bible, meaning that I can't answer every single question thrown at me. I wish I could, though. Heck, if I was going to school to become a pastor, I probably would be a better debater (is… Continue

I have been uber busy doing grad school applications. They're a part-time job in themselves, good grief! By the time I'm done doing whatever with them for the day, I get sick of being on the computer and want to get away from my desk- so I have been spending massive amounts of free time with friends and books and my bike. It's rather lurvely, when I can forget the stress of the applications. But it also explains why I also took a while to respond- I don't really do non-application stuff on the compy much nowadays.

What's new with you, eh?

Hm... Well, he likes stuff set up like Resident Evil, running around and solving puzzles and such. He doesn't like swords, though- it must have guns. He did like Spyro, up to number three or so (it got kind of stupid after that). But he hated Crash Bandicoot. He played Sonic on Genesis but didn't get into it on Gamecube... Um... I dunno...

I didn't mean to sound like I'm ungrateful for my job, I'm sorry! No, I'm extremely grateful and thankful I have it. And I know I only have it because I had an in: I work in the special education classroom I volunteered in while I was a college student. I got the job because they knew me and knew before I applied that I'd "fit" because, well, I had been in there for four years already. If I hadn't applied for it, I would be jobless- I was rejected everywhere else I applied for.

That's one thing I hope history looks back on us with using a bit more grace than the current "adults." We're still "young-uns" to the media, after all. But people in their twenties and even early thirties are moving back with parents and/or are unemployed because the economy is so terrible- hardly anyone is hiring, or if they are, they're extremely picky and don't want someone in that age bracket; and cost of living and housing are on the rise. So we really have no choice in the matter.

And no, my name isn't Gabriel, it's Gabrielle. Baddum-CHICK!! ;p There is an extra "le" at the end- Gabriel is the original male version, after a certain Biblical figure I'm sure you're aware of- mine is feminized since I am, indeed, female. I get that a lot, though, so don't feel bad. I get "Gabriella" a lot, too.

I've tried fiddling with the idea of an XBox 360 with my dad, but he's quite averse to it- and when I ask him why, he gives some BS, generic answer, most of the time, although every now and again he also says something like, "There aren't enough good games on the Xbox," which I can kind of agree with- at least Gamecube and Wii still have Mario and Zelda.

Another game I would really like to play: Arkham Asylum. I first heard about it over a year ago, before The Dark Knight even came out. And, being a Batmanfangirl, I have been soaking up all of the articles and previews I can find in magazines and online. It, too is on both PS3 and XBox 360... If I had the money, I'd buy it all myself. But, alas, I have a low-paying job and barely get by from paycheck to paycheck.

Anyhoo, I'm kind of rambling... What do you do for a living?

Hahaha! Well, I'm not a hardcore videogamer, but I did evolve with my family from an original NES, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Playstation 2, Gamecube, and now to a Wii. So I've played various games on each platform. My family has this bizarre fixation with the Resident Evil series- we'd cut work and school when new editions came out and spend a self-made long weekend playing, even bought the Gamecube just to keep going with the series. Now that it's on PS3, we're probably going to have to give it up- until PS3 gets cheaper, at least.

No Halo 3? What kind of a gamer doesn't own Halo 3?

And I thought it was you because the guy's handle was Trebor135.

Alright, I need to know your XBox Live handle, because I have a suspicion that we played each other in Halo 3 a few nights ago.

Now I feel bad, unnerdfighterly and I'm sorry. I am overprotective of my nerdfriends and you misconstrued my demographic comment as I was referring to the fact that we are mostly women, mostly older, mostly agnostic/athiest and so on, quite the opposite of your profile. I will leave you be, and hope your future ning experiences are pleasant and awesome...

Haha! Why on Earth would those commercials make you feel old? They haven't even been around for a year.

Okay, I loved the cello music in that vid- I used to play the cello, that took me back. She used Apocolyptica- I have a song I played in high school by them in my playlist. Totally awesome. (Dang, I need to re-buy those CDs... they got damaged. Sad pandas.) ALas, I have nothing as epic to give back at the moment. I'll think of something. Trust me, this will bother me until I do. ;)

So uh, well, I said I USED to play the cello. For fun? I don't have time for fun!! Nah, kidding. In terms of being social, I play board games. At my house, at friends' houses, at the bookstore a few blocks from my house. On my own, I fart around on the Internet, read, sing, and watch lots of TV/movies. And I'm an aspiring professional advocate/activist. How about you?

I'm fond of these ones.

Oh, now you're just showing off. ;p
