Trapeze

So John just tweeted that it would take a million dollars to get him to take a trapeze lesson like Maureen Johnson did. And though it is obviously not a serious challege, amazing things have happened when John and Hank have "challenged" us to do something without actually thinking we'd pull through. Never underestimate nerdfighters....So the question is this: do we collectively try to send him a million bucks or is that too cruel (or too nice???)See More

Help My Kitty!

Dear Nerdfighters,



I have a fantastic nerdfighting kitty who is unfortunately doing so well. We're not sure why, but he's been losing a lot of weight and throwing up a lot. He's also seemed kind of down lately. We've taken him to the vet, who says that they can't find anything drastically wrong with him. We've given him medication and special food that the vet gave us.



Has this happened to anyone else? Any vet nerdfighters out there? I love my kitty and I'm not sure what… Continue

Thanks but I didn't find it, I just started the second thread when the first one got too long :)

I think they found it around 4 or 4:30 eastern standard time, but I'm not really sure. Everyone's stumped now.

And i would ~never~ call you a tween - not like that! Especially in that condescending way people have of just putting someone in a pigeonhole because of one's age. That was sort of the point of my blog post, I guess - don't like the feeling of being thought that I didn't belong because of my age, which, btw, I never got from anyone here, but it was a bit of a fear. Being self-conscious is a human condition that we never seem to grow out of, completely, I guess. I'm glad I've "un-offended" you!
