& I also think more than I speak. There are a lot of things I needed to say that I never had the guts to tell people.

I'm foolish by nature.

Favorite Books: Paper Towns, Tuck Everlasting, Catcher in the Rye, This Side of Paradise, anything by Irvine Welsh, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Clockwork Orange, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, In The Time of The Butterflies, Eat Pray Love, Harry Potter, Pride & Prejudice <3, Little Women, Lolita, The Bell Jar, Slaughterhouse Five & pretty much anything else by Vonnegut, anything by George Orwell, anything by Simone de Beauvoir..so much more..in truth, give me anything & I'll probably read it & love it.

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?: A beanie!! Now if only I had one.

Sick..

no, not with swine flu you silly. Although a few local highschools HAVE been closed.. anyway, I feel downright sick with nostalgia.

Today is someone's birthday. Someone who is very dear to me, although I'm too cold to show it. We're both too careful & reserved too show it. Happy birthday :o) <3

Habitat for Humanity-DAY ONE!!

So. That was awesome. I loved it. I'm exhausted. I feel so GOOD.

My mother even said she's proud of me, & she is not a very expressive person when it comes to praising people. I think the last time she said that to me was when I was a freshman in highschool. Nice.

So I got there around 8 this morning, & started doing paint touch ups all over the house. I also sanded & painted window frames so the glass could finally be installed by more skilled individuals than myself. Then Mary Gr… Continue

Biologically, the mechanisms that made people reproduce more efficiently aren't conscious. What we know consciously doesn't necessarily have an effect on our subconscious attractions: Guys want sex--but that doesn't mean that we want to reproduce. It's just an easier biological mechanism to make sex pleasurable.
I should also point out that monogamy is not as natural of a thing as we make it out to be. It has more to do with society and culture than it does with biology.
