Ha ha, yes, lucky for our band its a semi requirement to have the same chanter as every one else. Lucky for me when I bought my pipes they already came with the correct chanter. Saved me some dough!
Wow, you could be a professional stalker... I mean that was good. Well also, probably because you saw the bands web site and it says where we are based. I thought of that a few minuets after I posted that. *chortle* And BTW the pipe band competition is at the ski resort Loon Mountain. From what I've been told its one of the largest bagpipe competitions in the North East, meaning Canada too. Pretty jokes!
P.S. I was borne in San Diego. Small world, or something in the water... if you catch my drift... (AKA I mean it makes us Nerdy, nothing weird or any thing, it was sort of a bad joke... sorry... :p)

- Hey, I was just told there is a five awesome writers channel but I don't mind we can make a slightly different one. Scotch Spock can join too. if they want too... I don't know many others, we need to think of something besides writing and thinking the Yetti having her own pipe band is jokes for us to have in common.

Yeah, it all depends on the reed I guess. Plus I use a different chanter than you probably do. I have a Gibson (I think its a gibson... or is that a guitar... hmmm) which is high, but I also have a wooden chanter that's four times older than me (60 yrs.) and its lower. Also pipe chanters have been becoming higher and higher ever year, just by the makers. So that might have some thing to do with it. *You got left in the past!* ( '*' means I'm joking... btw)
Also I agree with you, Vulcan salute, good. And a good way to show my half Vulcan heritage... <- (insert nerd voice)
When I saw all the comments on the video today, first I saw all of my friends comments, then, I saw Johns and I thought I was going to explode! It was like a god reached down and toughed me! (did that sound obsessive to you? "Gee John, how does it feel to be a god?")
So yes, my happiness level just went up to platinum! (note game reference ;) )

- Hi umm, sorry I never check that email, ever... I got your videos. There really good. They should work very well. My family recently got Final Cut Express so editing the two videos together should be no problemo! I'll send you the video when I'm done.
Yeah right, If I gave that speech to the band they would thing I was smoking something, to every one there I'm "Quiet Benny". Not to mention I'm not a full time playing piper, only over the summer when Morris dance practice isn't going, or the fact that I have only been in the band for a few months... plus I would be too afraid to do I... I mean what if my glasses fall off!

- I am into a lot actually. I am a fairly good poet who doesn't do them often. I also have so many short stories either in progress or just rattling in my head it's not even funny. I am working on a story that is going to be a mystery, but I also like historical stuff, Fiction and non... and just regular YA type stuff I guess. I want to try and do a fantasy type story. (think Lord of the Rings and Narnia) but we will see.
