Don't bother with Ruby in the Smoke. It sucked. Smith's character was pretty awesome, but couldn't make up for the suckfest.

The psychic didn't say "it," she said "he." Which means that the Master would be possible, if not for the fact that he died in order to piss off the Doctor. No, I don't think it is the Master, but it is definitely a past WhoBaddie who is male.
Because Chicago really is the largest Midwestern city, I vote for the gathering to be somewhere in the Windy City. (The fact that I live in Chicago so it would be most convenient for me has NOTHING to do with it. ^_^)

I am so glad this discussion is up; there are two many people completely ignorant of Old Who (no offense). I really enjoy the classic series. My personal favorite Doctor is 10, so I like NuWho a bit more, but I still adore 2,7,8, and 5.
