- About Me:
- A note to those looking to chat with me and what not! I am not going to be available for some time as school has started. ;3 I will reply to this and that when I can, but studies come first. :O I will be active again once the year gets moving and the projects die down a little. :D
Well, I am 17 years old, I love reading, writing, sketching, watching Anime, studying, and gaming. I read the dictionary on a regular basis because it is fabulous, and I run a Manga library out of my house in which I lend out my Supa' large collection for a quarter per visit. :3
On another note I have been teaching myself Japanese for several years now, due to a serious lack of classes available in my area. I only know how to write Hiragana right now, but I am about half way through Katakana and then I can move onto Kanji (Which is terrifying). I have taken two years of formal Chinese classes and I can only hope that will help with my character writing. Though I seriously doubt it, my handwriting even stinks in English. :]

Oh and everything ever made my a certain Mr. John Green.

I'm a little old school, so most of my series are a little different.
Martian Successor Nadesico was absolutely crazy funny but still grabbed my heart all over the place.

A lot of them made me feel strongly, like especially FMA, Fruits Basket, Death Note, and a few others. Uzumaki made me strongly AFRAID!
The ending to code Geass brings me to tears every single time I watch it.

I'm going with gundam 00 and one piece. there are parts in both where i have to stop due to epic overload or a wonderful character dies.
I personally love The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. The confidence & leadership Haruhi seems to display while somehow still being,well, melancholy shows a great example of the complexity of human nature.I also like the simple humor of Lucky Star.…
Lovely Complex is good. I only read the first 7 volumes though > but #4 was the funniest just because HE STILL DIDN'T GET IT!
Hokuto no Ken, probably the manliest anime/manga you'll find out there. If you could get Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee to mate, Hokuto no Ken would be the outcome.
I am currently watching Canaan, and a few other series. (Darker Than Black, Bakemonogatari (OMNOMNOM), and FMA Brotherhood)
I just finished Bamboo Blade which was surprisingly cute. ;3

She's not a fan of science fiction, sadly. She thinks it's unrealistic and some other such nonsense. This tends to be a recurring sentiment among my english teachers, it's sad really.
Aw well, you can always pull the "I was sick and out of my head"…

- maximum the hormone!!! nice one! iv never found anybody else who has even heard of them! ah and you an otaku, much like myself! alothough i think you might have a tad more manga than me ^_^ anyhoo how are you? and can you recommend any good anime to watch? i just finnished 'higurashi no naku koro ni rei' and have started watching the spin off 'unineko no naku koro ni' but only a few episodes are released so far so i need something to fill the gap... cheery bye! x

- Oh, also, (more to add to my long post >.<) do you have any recommendations for Japanese bands? The only ones I've heard of are MAXIMUM THE HORMONE (pretty sure I'm morally and legally obligated to all caps that), and AIRMAIL (once again, I can't bring myself to not do that).

- Well, I'll play pretty much anything, though I try to avoid micro-management as much as possible. As for games I like, I like rpgs, shooting games, strategy (turn based usually), and sandbox games. I just started playing the Hitman series, which pretty much encompasses all of that rather nicely. As far as other games, anything from Valve, Final Fantasy, Shin Megami Tensei, pretty much anything from Atlus, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, etc.
I'm not actually that into MMOs, because they usually involve grinding, and I have a very low amount of patience for that outside of Pokemon and Shin Megami Tensei. :/
