I LIKE TRAINS

I have had this laptop for almost a year, and the microphone started giving me trouble about 5 months back. I never really bothered with it, but it's becoming a problem. The computer will not detect even the default microphone. I've rebooted it many, many times, to no avail. Any microphones I try to plug it aren't detected, and I've tested them on other computers and they work just fine there.  Any suggestions before I try calling support?

Guys, this is serious. I have noticed a distinct lack of Underpants in third graders' hands. We need to fix this. I believe that we should pay scholastic to bring Captain Underpants back into the masses. And we should tie Dav Pilkey down until Captain Underpants is assured to save the day. Who is with me!?!

I was  creeping around some forums and Valve stuff on wikipedia, when I came across that some argue that Chell isn't a mute. I would like to have one clarification though: I hear a feminine grunt when I take fall damage or turret damage. Does that qulify her as mute, or does she refuse to talk about the situation, like some suggest? Though no one ever doubted Freeman's muteness, I noticed in Half Life 1 and 2, he grunts, in a male voice, when he falls. Does this…

I really hope I can get something from you guys...I am just learning python, and notepad++ wont launch it correctly. I tried both a simple print "hello, world" program and one of the built in programs. All it does is open the shell, and not the program. Pl0x help
