- Old school Nerdfighter with limited Wii capabilities. I play harp (yeah), piano, clarinet, french horn, flute and marching french horn (often mistaken for a flugel horn). I prefer reading Dickens. I'm learning German (again). I tend to learn and remember anything of non-practical value - but have issues locating my car keys and shoes. You have a 50-50 chance with the remote controls. I can pack a house and move within 24 hours. I have two pretty-much adult offspring who have both found great people in their lives I simply consider further offspring, just later added. The only person I know more of a Nerdfighter than I am is my husband, but that's because his elvish language skills are superior to mine (perhaps the German will help). I care for a 21 year old cat.

I'm currently reading the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, Norton's Annotated Jane Eyre, Game of Thrones, I am Legend, Death Mark (Dresden series), bio of Dame Kathleen Kenyon (archeologist), American History since 1865, and the restored edition of A Moveable Feast.
