About Me:

Sheesh, about me... um, I am an avid reader, I would like to write more, but I am easily distracted by bright shiny objects and I tend to forget to be awesome alot(Working on that).

I am involved in medieval recreation as another hobby. I am planning on going back to college if I can arrange the finances for it with the hope of being a Unitarian Universalist minister eventually.

In general, I would like to make the world a better place, and have been slowly realizing that I have to get over my active hatred of politics and actually be involved more if I want to believe that I am doing what I can to do that.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

Wow, there are so many choices. I enjoy pretty much anything by David Gemmell.
Ghosts in the Snow or Threads of Malice by Tamara Siler Jones.
Gossamer Axe by Gael Baudino
War of the Oaks by Emma Bull
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Greenmantle by Charles de Lint
Swan Song by Robert R. McCammon

And just cause I feel like it, I have to add my favorite first line of any book I ever read is from Robert R. McCammon's Gone South: "It was hell's season and the air smelled of burning children."
I mean it is poignant and certainly sets the tone.

But my best friend (she's awesome) actually found it on the internet and got it for my birthday. It's not the best quality, but it works. Then like a year or so later... they freakin brought it out on DVD!! I was like "WHHAAATT???!!!" All that trouble... oh well. By the way don't worry about you showing your age... I just turned 27 yesterday.

Yeah I love The Last Unicorn... I guess that means that I am a fan of "team unicorn." Oh well, it has been my favorite movie for a long time. There is a nice little story about how I got my copy, but I won't bore you with it, it's not that interesting anyway. Again thanks for the comments and anyone who knows about The Last Unicorn has to be pretty awesome.
