- Sophomore at a small liberal arts college outside Baltimore (1500 miles from my hometown in South Dakota.) I love reading and listening to/making music. I'm an oboe performance major but I also played violin through high school and I know my way around a piano.

Sometimes perfection can be perfect hell
Words crossed my father's lips tonight at dinner that I never in a million years thought I'd hear. It was something like "You should go on dates." Something like that. At first I laughed and thought throwing out a "well maybe I'm a lesbian" as a joke, because I'm not (a lesbian that is). And besides, what father would actually encourage his daughter to date?
