My song tells it all, pretty much. Well, I am a 17 -year old-girl, too.
I'm a Literary Fangirl Nerdfighter (in my pants)!
I'm the nerdfighter that flips out whenever I read
about a character that I'd really like to meet.
Don't hate on me just because I spend a lotta'
time dwelling on that nerd named Harry Potta' (in my pants).
So maybe I suck at math and science a little, too
but I can tell the literary character most like you.
Like one day I was in town riding my bike
and screamed because I saw a Mr. Darcy look-a-like (in my pants).
I've also broadened my horizons to people that are real,
I freak out about authors too, that's my deal,
for instance, I'm an avid fan of John Green,
and I search the card catalogue for "Johnson, Maureen" (in my pants).
So maybe I'm going crazy and jumping up down,
trust me it's not cause Coldplay came to town.
More likely, a Border's opened up on my street
and I have many new fictional characters to greet (in my pants).
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
I'm not even going to try to list them all, there are far too many. They are mostly YA realistic fiction and fantasy. And I love Australian YA to pieces.
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
Mother Teresa or Ghandi. I really want to know what their happy dances were/are like.
the Hunger Games trilogy...I don't know if that counts as fantasy, I can't tell if it is fantasy or science fiction. It's definitely an adventure story though. The main character, Katniss, is a lot like the girls in Tamora Peirce's books. I'm currently reading Catching Fire, the second in the series (the third isn't out yet), and I absolutely love it.
