I got interesting in silk-screening, and decided to give it a try. My family was watching episodes of Eureka, where people often visit a coffee shop called Cafe Diem, and I decided to combine these two ideas and make t-shirts for the family with a Cafe Diem logo. This is my first attempt:

I am starting to see signs of spring. My first crocuses popped up a week ago. Seed racks are turning up at grocery and hardware stored. And today: bees! I know everyone doesn't seem the world like I do, but for me, these are encouraging signs of spring. What are your signs?

Is there a word for the road-junk that gets stuck on your car behind the tires when the roads are snowy and icy? I propose "sludgecicle", if there isn't already a word. Sort of like icicle, but without the image of purity that ice suggests. maybe gunkcicle. I suppose "blob of frozen slush" could work, but it seems so clunky.
