Vertigo_One [Ops Mod] replied to Delstein's discussion Is the minimum wage making people poor?
"Then I trust you don't vote on the basis of how much tax a person promises? Given that taxes and minimum wage controls people's every day circumstance, it is reasonable for politicians to use them as part of a national electoral platform."

I never got a chance to respond to your post on the, "Hell, Heaven, and Kingdom of Lord," thread. However, I googled the page and retrieved what was written before the page was deleted. Would you be open to continuing the discussion, or would you rather drop the issue? For your convenience, here is the page in question.

I was also just paging through some of your posts and I wanted to thank you. I am a scientist and a christian which usually leaves me feeling like I have to defend myself to someone. Reading your comments made me feel uplifted and encouraged. Thank you so much for that!

Hi, I just thought I'd pop in and say hello and also that I have read up quite a lot on everything you and others have been discussing on Christianity and I wanted to just let you know how uplifting it is to see someone so passionate for The Lord and who has such a desire to share the truth.
God bless you.

As I said before, I think that view is very small-minded. But hey, no offense if that's what you want to believe. I guess we'll never agree on this. It was interesting talking to you.
