Glaring Metamorphose said… I don't have much hope that you will see this. Hopefully ning emails you or something. But, it was (what seems like) ages ago, when you were one of the first people I talked to in this community. You told me about this band called fun., and I've loved them ever since. Time went on, (it seems as though) you've abandoned the ning, I abandoned it a few times myself, fun. is now played on top 40 stations, and countless other things have changed. For some inexplicable reason, I still think of you every now and then, wonder how you're doing and who you are now. I don't know why.
I had the privilege of attending the fun. and Miniature Tigers concert at Summerfest a few days ago. Fun. had just gotten back from London, and played very well in spite of that. Nate looked a little zombie-like, but still sang his heart out and had enough energy to be running across the stage. We had the chance to talk with Rick from Miniature Tigers afterward. He was telling us how they just got in that morning, and how one of their guys missed the plane. I said they still played well, and at this point, this jet-lagged, slightly intoxicated musician looked me straight in the eye and said, "no, we played shitty." I was both amused and saddened by that, but in any case, it was a great night, something I'm very glad to have been able to do. And none of it would have happened had you not recommended I listen to fun. a few years back.
I apologize if this is overly sentimental, but I had to put it out there.

- It's pretty damn cold over here too, haha. It snowed yesterday, and today the skies were absolutely clear, so arctic temperatures were in order.
I hate winter...I'm moving to Georgia next year xD
