I wish I had a good excuse for not being on the ning in like, what 2 months?
I'm less attentive than I usaually am during summer break...

Apology accepted- but only because you have a picture of yourself petting a lioness... and a baby water buck... and possible because you also have a picture of a giraffe. How can I say no to all of that? It looks like you had a great time and I'm glad you got to go back home! The pictures are stunning.

Good job with your video game! A pat on the back is more than many people get and you'll keep rolling with it in the future; thats what counts. Now that its all said and done, did you guys have fun? I can only imagine something that time consuming and challenging has a big part of all of you invested, and I'm gad to hear there is still work to be done on it.

My summer is officially 1/3 over- plans are very lax now that I moved out of the city and back to my little home state of Delaware. (Yay, 1st state!) Right now my only solid plans are to venture out and see the Harry Potter movie on the 14th with all my friends. We're going to be lame and see it at midnight, like the little 5 year olds we really are. Besides that my summer is as blank a canvas as yours. Hopefully we both find something to fill the time with.

My show closed with great reviews and I earned so much, I'll have some photos up soon of the production. Oh man it was fun and hard at the same time. I was the only technician doing wardrobe and that was a lot, but in the end I learned so much and got so much experience it was well worth it. Just one step at a time I guess-

What news? It tis the fifth of this month of June, which means yesterday you were suppose to hear (maybe) back from the judges. I await your broadcast.

I am here at work, taking a much needed break from the dungeon (as I call it, more accurately it's like a large closet) and the shop where I am cleaning. And I am CELANING! I feel something akin to Cinderella sans the evil family or the prince. Yesterday I spent the day cleaning the floor and today it's organizing shelves and cleaning the many dye vats we have. Blech! But I like the work, and I love feeling accomplished. I also love out doing my own expectations- makes me feel like super man... possible batman. I’m not sure which one is cooler.

I hope your holiday is going well, and I hope you managed that parachute escapade you had mentioned. Flying can be fun when you are safely strapped to auxiliary safety devices! I hope the trip home was uneventful and everything that was in the sky stayed there. What will you do with yourself now that you are free from both the finals monster and the school monster? The possibilities seem endless!

I can understand where the professor would say that- however a evil corporate energy eradicating mind slave cat would have been nothing but an addition to your game. I think such an act of withholding would actually robs children of insight to the capitalist market and what that means for them as consumers today... but maybe that is going a little to far? I have my finders, toes and eyes crossed (sporadically throughout the day and never all at once mind you) in hopes that your game is the grand prize winner. And you hear back in 2 days? Wow- are you feeling nervously excited yet?

My apartment is very cozy, and by cozy I mean small. Its exactly what you imagine an undergrad college kid inhabiting- all cute and little. Its homey and all I really do is sleep here, I'm always at work or away. My roommates are partiers as well, but luckily they party at someone elses place- leaving my kitchen floor velcro free! Summer houses are the best and I wish you luck on that front. You really just have to find a room mate that you can coexist with and who respects the general and common space as belonging to everyone. The problem I'm having now is that one of the guys smokes in the living room- and its making everything else gross. All he'd have to do would be step over to the fire escape, not even walk outside downstairs, just open the window and step out! Why are people so lazy? It makes no sense to me. He does it when no one is home and we all come back to that smell- I swear it's turning the wall paper yellow. But luckily my door is imperviously shut till I come home so all is well as long as I never leave!

Work is getting better and better, but I always leave covered in dust. The space I'm cleaning really hasn't been touched in years and so the accumulation is ghastly. I'm having fun though, really making the place functional for next year. In my spare time I stitch for the FBI and their new spy section. They've promised me amnesty in 30 different countries and waved my taxes for life- provided I supply them with the highest grade disguises in existence. It's hard work, and I probably shouldn't have told you- I'm sorry if I put yo in any danger- but if they attempt to take your life I'll sort everything out. Let me know if you see anyone in restoration period french livery stalking your home and office!

I'm living in my own apartment now- its really cool to have your own space, but it's really expensive and I don't know if I'm going to be able to stay the whole summer. I'm having fun though- and I hope it stays that way.

I HAVE 1.5 DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!
I'm unbelievably excited.
And two weeks after school let's out, marching band starts. :D

AAAAAHHHHH! Attack of the College Finals monster! Had it not been for my serious D&D training in middle school I am not sure I would have survived that encounter. But now I'm done. Another year gone.

So finals consumed my life and I've been otherwise indisposed. I don't think I've been on the internet for fun in the last week or so. But summer is officially here as soon as I turn in my last papers.

A quick update, cause some ridiculous things have happened: I got into my show at school and I'm designing my first show at school next year. I got a job over the summer, yay. And, last but most exciting and scary: I got an email from the Casting Director of Project Runway asking me to please audition for Season Seven because she really really likes my work. Apparently she was at Earth day and loved my dress. Ok, so Project Runway is almost as un-nerdfighter as they come-- but I'll audition I guess just to say I did. Ugh, I need more time... I hope all is well on your side of the planet, what with all your finals!

We need to find a way to slow time down, or soon there will be none left!
