- Nerdfighter. That sums it all up.
I write a lot. Sometimes originals, sometimes poetry. I am also guilty of the occasional fanfiction.
I read a lot. I'll read anything that I see really including but not limited to (if there's nothing else) catalogs, billboards, liscence plates and the backs of Lysol cans.
I'm a band nerd & I play the clarinet. (both B flat and B flat bass) Well...more than that, I am a member of the fantasmagoriffic STEELE KNIGHT BAND!!!! WOOO!!!
So I have to write something about music:
In the words of Juno Maguff: It is boss!
I love all music anything from The Anonymous 4 and the Medeaval Baebes to Symphonies to Regina Spektor to Leona Lewis and Natasha Bedingfield.
From that I must exclude only country music and hardcore rap. Neither of which I can relate to.

Today was very very very good.
I'd say we've stepped off on the right foot this season.
Now for a brief (haha) synopsis:
Got to school at one. Was thrilled to see everyone. Mrs. X dyed her hair which was weird, but she was in a really good mood. I think she was trying to lull the fish into a false sense of security. But we didn't warn them. It's nice when WE don't have to worry about her biting our heads off.

The Time Has Come
To write a new blog. I've been so dreadfully neglectful of my blogs of late. My apologies.
So since it's been so long, this blog will be a compilation of utter randomnocity. Whatever strikes my fancy will find it's way into the blog.
So heeeeere we go!

IN WHICH MY BAND DIRECTOR MAKES ME INSANE (in a good way)
Strap yourselves in ladies and gentlemen, this one is gonna be big.
Okay, let me start by saying that everything that I put in the last blog was absolutley and positvely true.
I was not exaggerating or being silly.
It was factual.
Now, the day after I wrote that blog (the 15th) I went to school and she (Mrs. X) got uber mad @ me for something that I didn't do. She pretty much accused me of losing something or stealing something (I never really figured it… Continue

I work my butt off for her and she doesn't even look at me!!!

So...our band is pretty big and there are a lot of people involved in it. Multiple, leaders, techs, drum majors, directors, etc.
But we all answer to one person.
Her.

So much to say...Today's blog will come in 5 parts.
Part One: An apology.
I am so. so. so. sooo. sorry that I haven't been online. You would not believe the terrible awful spring break that I had. I missed y'all a lot, but then when I got on once I got home and saw how many comments and stuff I had...I felt so behind that I just couldn't bring myself to start. Mea Culpa. Please forgive me.

I should be doing homework for my educational psychology class, but right now I'm not nerdfighters. I'm going to a piano/violin/mongolian instrument concert in Seattle today in about two hours. It should be fun. I'm going to hear a transcription of Aaron Copeland's Hoedown and the three Gershwin Preludes. Oh, and band concert next Wednesday. We're playing Variations on a Korean Folksong, On the Mall, Llwyn Onn, The Immovable Do and Russian Sailor's Dance. It's should be pretty fun.

My Geometry Honors teacher is killing me, I just don't listen to him.
My school doesn't have a bass clarinet player, but I love the sound of it.
French horn is awesome, I have a duet with the clarinets in The Water is Wide, and a solo in The Beatles: Love.
We're playing:

and some more that I can't quite get the names of.
I'll try to look them up.
Oh, well that's not too bad, atleast it's not like across the state or anything.

- Well, it doesn't look like I'll have time to blog tonight but definetly this weekend. It was suprisingly alot of fun despite the pain of headbutts, crossfaces and various nelsons and cradles. Plus I lost 20 pounds so I am not complaining.
