No Blu-ray support for XBOX
It seems that Microsoft and Sony are NOT in talks for the blu-ray support for the XBOX, but may be considering new alternatived for blu-ray drives in PCs. This is a little dissapointing, but not surprising at all.

Trapped
The snow has made it impossible for me to leave. I live right by the mall and it's closed. It's creepy to see no one on the main roads or at the usually crowded mall. Thank god I have so many books/movies/games or I would go nuts. Hopefully the power does not go out.

Sony in talks with Microsoft for Blu-ray drive
According to Stan Glasgow, Sony Electronics US president, Sony and Microsoft are in talks for creating a Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360. Details are scarce, so it is unknown if the drive would be built in to a new version of the 360, or if it will be a seperate add on like the HD-DVD player.
Sony is also talking with Apple to develop a player for the Mac system.

Brick Lane, London will be testing out new padded lamp posts to protect people who are distracted by walking and texting at the same time. Apparently, according to a study, 1 in 10 people are injured from not paying attention and walking in to poles.
Why are they not building giant holes to trap these people? It's time to start weeding the weak links out of our society.

Hmmm...I like a whole bunch of people. It's really, really hard to choose!! Well, right now I'm listening to the Moaning Myrtles, Muse, the Fratellis, and a YouTube playlist, including music from Nerimon, Charlieissocoollike, Julia Nunes, Lauren O'Connell, Fallofautmndistro....oh, and the Doctor Who theme song! I don't actually watch Doctor Who, but I think it would be fun to see!
