her books are so funny you'll be rolling on the floor laughing, and some of her plots are so out of left field and interesting.
umm, you should definitely check out the princess diaries series, the mediator,how to be popular, 1-800-where-r-you, jinx,airhead, and she's written like 50 so it's not gonna be hard to find something of hers that strikes your fancy.her adult books are just as good too.

I'm not sure what sarah dessen has but it's just like An "It" factor that makes her books so good and amazing.
I love Young adult novels. I also love funny ones like pretty much anything meg cabot has ever written.
