Rather inclined to giggle, doesn't put things away...

Hello there, the New Zealanders nerdfighters have this beautiful little tight knit group on facebook where they have discussions and organise gatherings and such. I've been looking around and I can't seem to find anything like that for Australian nerdfighters so I decided to create my own group. Hello Fellow Brisbane Nerdfighter :)

We are organizing a Nerdfighting group who get together every month to have some nerdy fun and decrease world suck! What we will be doing exactly hasn’t been completely decided yet, however if you would like to be involved we are having a little get together to discuss what we can do over the next year,

Some suggestions are:

- Having people teach us more about their nerdy loves, doctor who, harry potter etc.
- Having people teach us how to do nerdy things, solve a Rubix cube, origami etc
- Fundraising to decrease world suck
- FIELD TRIPS! Going to see movies, perhaps the planetarium, science centre etc

All these suggestions plus any others will be discussed as a group deciding which are do-able :)

If nothing else it might be a fun way to meet other Nerdfighters and chill out while being your-self

This means of course, no giant squids of anger!! Any twilight bashing of any kind will not be tolerated... unless it’s hilarious.

OH WOW sorry, i guess i caught the 'non checking' bug from you :-p

It has treated me Excellently! mainly just working and hanging out with my friends. I actually have been taking my friend's dog to the lake often. However whenever I am in the water with him he tries to climb my chest (with his paws, OW!!) to lick my face, dumb golden retrievers.. However it has allowed me to get SOME color hahaha.

Also, I have started to date my very awesome and spectacularly amazing friend (who actually happens to be a nerdfighter, hell freak ya!) !!!

I start my basic training for the Army in Oct. And AIT in December. I get out beginning of summer :-/

And I may be getting a leopard with tribal tattoo!! i am really excited for that!

How are you?

I'm not too sure either. I looked at Jet Star and Virgin and they seem to be around the same price (although, why is Jet Star's $99 air fare only for the13:40 flight? gah). I might fly on Sunday and fly back on Monday (I'll skip my lectures) since the last Sunday flight is around 16:30.. I don't think I'd get back to the airport that quickly!

I gratefully accept the hi of your new Canadian friend Katherine. Please convey my profound joy that you have found a boy who loves harry potter as much as you do and tell him to read Twilight/The Host (PS I want my copy back! I'm not sure i can be friends with a slow reader Katherine...) IMEDIATELY. For although i am and shall forever be a HarryPotterHead, Stephanie Meyer has filled the void which Harry left in me after the 7th book and the unspeakable crapilouge.
