A group for all the nerdfighters who love learning languages-whether they be ancient or modern, reality or fiction (yes-nerds who are interested in fictional languages such as Klingon, Elvish, etc. are welcome too!)
I'm Francis, formerly the Hippie Paintballer, and I'm a youtube vlogger and aspiring author of young adult fantasy novels. I'm nineteen and live in central Virginia. I'm engaged to a nerdfighter named Chris. Chris and I, along with a friend, founded the Citizens for a Bilingual America, a group focusing on promoting language education in the US. I'm a Spanish major (minoring in Latin), two subjects which I hope to teach. Also, I volunteer with the local Parks and Recs devision on a regular basis and have since summer of 09. I'm pretty easy to get along with-most of the time. I can be a bit of a contradiction. I try to live my life to the fullest, but I'm not as good as that as I should be.

I haven't blogged on here in a while, so here goes-
The Uncultured Project is a made of awesome project started by Shawn, a nerdfighter who dropped everything to start an unpaid and uncultured journey to help the poor in Bangladesh. If you haven't heard of the Uncultured Project, this video sums it up-
That's one of those questions that I'd love to give a definite answer to, but I'm not sure (mostly because of money). I have been talking to some other nerdfighters about sharing a room. I don't remember how many people were in the room right now/if there was any open space. Also, I'm I think everyone in the tentative group is a girl and I don't know if they/your fiancée would be comfortable with that.
In other news, congrats on being engaged! (its possible that happened a long time ago and I was just oblivious, but still congrats).
