One of my favorite things about living in the big city is how diverse everything is. My roommate and I were talking earlier today about making a goal to eat at one new restaurant every week. I'm really excited about how doable this actually is.

Oh hello there internets. Long time no chat.



Yes, I've pretty much been failing miserably at every single one of my New Year's Resolutions. Though, in my defense, I was going to post a video last week but my camera was acting funky, so I couldn't actually film it. I hope what I have to post tomorrow will make up for it. =)

Theatre in the Raw

So what I was going to blog about earlier, but ran out of time, is that two of my friends from college and I are starting our own theatre company. It is going to be called Theatre in the Raw and we will be playing around a lot with the idea of minimalism and the kind of world that creates on stage.

KE$HA

It may be odd of me to say this, but... I don't hate KE$HA. Surprised? Furniture Day!!

Today was awesome for two very important reasons. #1- My mom came up to visit and brought me my dresser. I haven't put my clothes away in it yet, but I am very excited to finally have a dresser in my room. =) It was also pretty cool to see my mom. She brought my youngest brother up with her and they moved my dresser in for me and then I took them out and did a really poor driving tour of St. Paul for them. My day off... or on

I had planned to actually get a lot of stuff done today, but unfortunately I got called in to work. Apparently the girl who was supposed to work the 12-8 shift this afternoon wrote her schedule down wrong and didn't realize she had to work today. The manager called her at like 12:15 but apparently she couldn't make it in so the manager called me and asked me if I could come in and cover the girl's shift.
