About Me:
I'm a nerd, but I'm extremely lazy. Love star wars, I do. I'm pretty liberal. I love to eat. I love Doctor Who. All of these simple sentences make me sound like a kindergartener. AAHHH!

Your Result: Social Nerd

You're interested in things such as politics, psychology, child care, and peace. I wouldn't go so far as to call you a hippie, but some of you may be tree-huggers. You're the type of people who are interested in bettering the world. You're possible the least nerdy of them all; unless you participate in other activies that paled your nerdiness compared to your involvement in social activities. Whatever the case, we could still use more of you around. ^_^

Ah, yeah. It's annoying that you can't watch them in order. I would be sad. Oh well. I know! Children of Earth was really, really scarring. Like, I may have seen one other (fictional) show or movie that bad, but no more than that. It was really well written though. They did a really great job with it. I really wouldn't have minded if they made it slightly less horrifying though. Oh well. It kind of gets a point across. And nobody's going to forget it anytime soon.

Ooh, yeah. He's still quite sexy in Life on Mars. Though he's a lot more adorable too. Like a puppy! It's about this detective/police officer who gets into a car accident and wakes up in 1973. He can't tell if he's gone back in time, if he's in a coma, or if he's gone insane, so basically, it's a police show which takes place in the 70s, and the whole time, he's trying to figure out what's happened to him and how to get back. It only ran for two seasons, so it's not anything that requires a huge amount of dedication to watch, but I really, really liked it. Especially once it started getting to the end and the stories really started to develop and make sense. And there's a lot of David Bowie music too, which is never a bad thing. You can't have too much David Bowie.

I've only seen RENT once, but I have some friends who are obsessed with it. It was really, really good though! And when I say that I've seen RENT, I mean I've seen the movie, not the actual show. I've never been to a broadway show. It's sad. I've always wanted to go to one. It looks like fun! Anyway, that's really exciting! I'm excited for you! And I agree. Obsession is fun. I have many obsessions too.

So what have you been doing lately? I'm moving tomorrow. I'm really nervous, but excited. I have 3 days of marching band boot camp to look forward to. Joy. Except I need them because my high school didn't have a marching band, so I've never actually marched before. Apparently it's not a problem though, so we'll see how that goes.

Haha. That would be so awesome! Chan I would totally do that too tho. I was thinking about that too, except using my name instead. Gi Hooray for two syllable names na! I'll stop now. Ooh! So I just finished Torchwood last night! The series 2 finale was DEVASTATING! GAH! I mean, yeah, it was really, really well done and awesome, but I CRIED! Then I had to go and watch Children of Earth, so I was crying through the last part of day 4 and literally ALL THE WAY THROUGH day 5. That was awful! But good. Have you watched Children of Earth yet?

I AM NOT ALONE!!! YAAAY! AH! John Simm is so sexy! Especially as The Master *dies.* Ever since I watched the end of season 3 I've been a total fangirl. My friends think I'm crazy, but that's okay. They'll see soon enough. Have you seen him in Life on Mars? That show is really amazing too, and he's just a brilliant actor. I mean, I don't usually remark on the acting skills of professional actors, but he just has this way of creating really, really genuine characters. When he's playing them, you can really get a feel for their personality and stuff right away, and I've never really seen anyone else who could do that. Maybe I'm just insane, but that's what I noticed. Haha. I'm definitely going to watch the Christmas episodes online. I am NOT patient enough to wait, especially when I know I could watch them online, and I don't get BBC America anyway, so that's kind of lame.

I also can't wait for the new season to start. I'm really excited to see what the new Doctor is going to be like. Also, STEVEN MOFFAT! So that's exciting. I'm so weird. Lol. But yeah.

Ooh. Now I'm excited for the end of season 2! That's awesome that your dad is interested in Torchwood! I hope my mom ends up liking Doctor Who. She likes it pretty well so far, but she's not a big fan of Christopher Eccleston. That's what I get for showing her a David Tennant episode first, I suppose!

Ah! I saw the pictures, yeah. I kind of like the costume, though I didn't at first. I REALLY don't want David Tennant to leave! I'm probably going to be crying for a week. I knew that ever since I found out that Christmas is going to be his last episode, so I was warning my roommate that I'm going to be depressed for about a month around Christmas, but now she loves Doctor Who too, so she won't think I'm crazy. Lol.

I don't know who my Doctor is! It's confusing because the first episode I ever saw was David Tennant, but the first season I watched like, regularly was Eccleston, and now the first time I'm actually keeping up with the episodes as they come out is going to be with Smith. I'M SO CONFUSED!

I agree. That would be a much better way of handling college and such. And decreasing world suck! It would be awesome if people could get discounts and stuff for their points, and people could trade them and give them to people who deserve them. Unfortunately, I think our society is too selfish to make that work, which is sad. Oh well.

I've recently started watching Torchwood! Don't tell me about the new ones if you've seen them! I'm still on series 2. I just watched "Adam" last night, and I think that may be my new favorite. So now my three favorite Torchwood episodes are "Adam," "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," and "Random Shoes." I also liked that one with the people who got stuck in the future, but I forgot the name of that one. Ah well. Which ones do you like?

Haha. I enjoy your analysis of the number three. It IS difficult though! I never really thought about it before... huh. Ugh. Money. Money is unfortunate. Wouldn't it be cool if we could pay for stuff with awesome? Like, you would get awesome points for doing awesome things and then you would spend the awesome points to get awesome things. It would be cool because then you don't necessarily have to work to get awesome points... you could get awesome points for helping people, or contributing to society in some positive way, or liking Harry Potter and Doctor Who... and nerdfighters would get triple awesome points for anything they do. I like this system. We should use it.

Hmmm... I'll have to consider purchasing that then! I love the songs they have on youtube, and I really want to hear the rest of them! I should probably just buy a sonic screwdriver too, just because then I can stop obsessing about wanting one.

So last night was awesome! The movie was good, and it's always great to hang out with nerdfighters! So thanks for setting that up!

Hah. Embarrassment. Ah well. I'm relatively used to it. But yeah. Chameleon Circuit is amazing! I really, really want to buy their album, but I've been spending WAY too much money on Doctor Who related items lately. I'm honestly having difficulty keeping myself from buying a sonic screwdriver. I look at that website pretty much all the time and just... think about the awesome that would come from owning one (that was a mild exaggeration in case you missed it). Hah. This is way random, but the other day, my friend and I were thinking about how hilarious it would be if we all dressed up as different regenerations of The Doctor and then wandered around Madison all day. It would be amazing. I imagine there would be about 4 people who figure out what's going on and find it highly amusing, but it would be worth it just for those 4 people. I totally want to be the 10th Doctor so I could use a sonic screwdriver every time I open a door. That would be fun. Anyway, I think I'm done rambling for now. Sorry about that. Haha.

You haven't seen Journey's End?! Or am I just misinterpreting your statement? My goodness! You have to see it if you haven't! Also, if you have, this entire post will be moderately embarrassing for me. Point is, it's amazing and it made me cry (perhaps I cry too easily... I cried at the end of season 3 too... and at a few random episodes as well)... anyway, if you've yet to see it, watch it online! That's where I watched all of them (as I believe I've mentioned before). I'll give you a link if you need it.

Haha. That's awesome! I've never read that book, but I found out about it somehow and thought it sounded interesting.

I'm the same as you. Definitely sad (perhaps too sad, I don't really know) that David is leaving, but I'm still really excited too. I mean, I'm glad that there's going to be a new Doctor because that's always fun, and that's really what the show is about anyway. I'm also really excited that Moffat is going to be the head writer. He's amazing! I'm just afraid that the last episode is going to be horrible for me. I mean, at the end of season 2, I was basically depressed for a week. No idea what's going to happen with this one, but chances are it won't be positive.

I'm also sad that the US is so far behind! It's horrible. Hehe. I just bought seasons 1-4, so that's exciting. Anyway, I usually watch everything online. I saw "Planet of the Dead" on some obscure blog right around the time it came out in Europe, so that seems to work well. It would still be nice if it was on TV though.

Ah... I agree. No school yet. Just... act like I didn't mention it. :) There. All gone! Hmmm... we should discuss something other than school then, eh? How about... Doctor Who? That seems to be a common interest. Are you more depressed or excited for next year?
