- I love Donnie Darko because it's the only movie I can watch three times in a row one night during finals week in college and not only not get sick of it but also find something new to think about (and to write about in my philosophy paper) each time. I love lady danville the band because they are beautiful human beings and remind me of all the good things in life, many of which are not even related to or about the band/music/boys at all. I love all of my books and I hate having to pick my favorite because it's nearly always whichever book I've most recently finished so for the moment it's Paper Towns, which is actually really unfair to the last last book I've read, which was Child of My Heart by Alice McDermott and which was beautiful and didn't make me cry even though death-books usually do. Which actually makes me wonder if maybe all books are death books or maybe none of them are but I would just like to say that I'm glad that Margo Roth Spiegelman did not end up dead and gross and traumatizing to Quentin because I finished the book around midnight and I have to get up in the morning so I didn't want to spend the next few hours mourning this fictional girl.
- What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
- Octopus plushies. Potentially real octopuses but I think those could get dangerous and uncomfortable and how would you explain the hickies from their suckers? "Sorry, boss. I was experimenting with...cephalopods."
