I got a wild hair yesterday when I noticed ABC beads were on sale at Hobby Lobby. So I had some fun making this fun bracelet. Which I then had to explain to my 9 year old son who wants to steal it from me now!!!

I read anything not nailed down!!! but my favorite authors are Robert Heinlein, Andre Norton, Ann Mccaffery, Robert Silverberg, Larry Niven, Kim Harrison, Laurell K. Hamilton, Ann Rice and Stephen King. And all the Harry Potter books!!!

Nerdfighter Haiku

While I wasn't sleeping last night, I was thinking about writing and how I used to write poetry and little stories before I had kids. So while I should have been sleeping, this thread got stuck in my head. I had to get up and write it down before I could go to sleep.

Silly, but until I actually wrote it down there was no way I was going to be able to even think of sleep!

My First Rambling

Howdy!

I thought I would enter some thoughts and rambles here. I am pretty new to the Nerdfighters, as I found it on December 17th during the Project for Awesome. I ended up getting lost in downtown Chicago on my way home, but I called a friend who google-mapped me and then managed to arrive home by 2am, so it wasn't that bad.

"Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is my favorite Narnia book ever! My original copy is so messed up because I got it when I was somewhere in the vicinity of 5-7 years old. Crazy times.
