L'Engle, Jhumpa Lahiri, Margaret Atwood, Tom Robbins, Harry Potter,
Atonement, Jasper Fforde (Thursday Next and the rest), Hitchhiker's
Guide, folk tales, J.D. Salinger (Nine Stories is my favorite), The Dynamics of Folklore, Volatile Bodies, Sexuality (by Jeffrey Weeks), Asimov's Annotated Gilbert & Sullivan.
