A Cursive Memory and Metro Station Concert

Last night, I went to a concert of five bands. The headliner was Saves the Day, but they are a really suckish emo band, and I didn't stay to see them. I went to go see Merto Station. They're pretty great, even though the bassist (who started the band) is Miley Cyrus' half brother, Trace Cyrus. Don't hold that against them. They were the only band that I knew, but my sister was also there to see a Cursive Memory. They were AMAZING!!!

What is the world coming to!?!?!?!?!

I was at the library today, because I needed to pick up the two books for my book club (which are "Dramarama" and "Stuck in the Middle" by the way). After I checked those out, I went to check out more books ("Alice, I Think" and "Criss Cross"). Then I decided to check to see how our beloved John Green's books were doing. All the copies of "Looking for Alaska" were gone, but there was one copy of "An Abundance of Katherines". No suprise there. "Looking for Alaska" was a way better book. It was wh… Continue

I'm on book 13 or 14 by now. it's still kind of behind but I always spend a good portion of my summer reading anyhow. it's like my favorite thing to do to sunbathe on my deck with a book. there's already been 2 days this year sunny enough to get out. I'm in the middle of Emma by Jane Austen right now and I have a whole line up ready after that.

I don't know about Florida, it's just never really appealed to me. It's like THE vacation spot, everyone goes there. I want to do something different, i guess. and Disneyworld would be fun, except it's all waiting in lines and overpaying for food and souveniers. I'd rather go somewhere not so busy.
