About Me:

Hello! My name is Shannon and I'm a Hogwarts graduate, unicorn enthusiast, time traveler, and I (remarkably) still enjoy fangirling Sailor Moon. My hobbies include baking cupcakes and snickerdoodles, collecting plushies, and starting discussions/fangirling with complete strangers in the YA section at Barnes and Noble when they are reading the inside flap of a book I've already read and enjoyed. I love My Chemical Romance, paranormal literature (ghosties! wizards! vampires! werewolves!), Hayao Miyazaki movies, anime, manga, Sanrio, Disney, Mad Hatters, Harry Potter, old-school Nickelodeon shows, Halloween, Christmas, pumpkin patches, and building snowmen. I hate dentists' offices, people who substitute the letter u for the word with the exception of chat-speak that's only employed in purely jesting context, people who leave their pets in cars with the windows rolled up, and disgustingly hot and humid weather.

I have a kitty named Butterscotch and I love him to bits and whenever I move out, I plan to take him with me and buy a pitbull so I can be like Veronica Mars and so Butterscotch can have a best friend (hopefully Marshmallow [the pitbull's name, obviously] won't eat him, though).

What's your favorite thing to put on your head?

Anything ranging from actual hats to paper bags to... those fake ear things? You know. The ones that are made to appear like headbands with pig ears or bunny ears or alien antennas (those are my favorite).

If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?

My favorite band (My Chemical Romance), Niles Crane, and Breyer's coffee-flavored ice cream. I have, however, on many occassions forced happy dances upon unsuspecting friends. Beware.
